Josh Cyrul of Team XRAY was on fire at the 2004 NORRCA Carpet On-Road Nationals, November 5-7 at Halo Hobbies. Piloting his XRAY T1FK, Josh swept through the pack in the Modified Sedan class to take the overall win and claim the championship.
Sitting out the first two rounds of qualifying, Josh was on a blistering pace in the 3rd qualifier, becoming a member of the "28 lap club" that only the top 4 drivers belonged to. With a few minor tweaks to his car, Josh put on a great display of driving in the 4th qualifier by lapping the field and obtaining one of the few 29 lap qualifying finishes of the weekend in that class, putting him on pole position in the A Main.
In the Modified Sedan A Main, Josh copied his fast qualifying pace, obtaining the only 29 lap finish of that race and taking the win for Team XRAY in the Modified Sedan class.
